One would never know summer was a couple of days away from the wind, rain, and cold on the day we went to Itaska State Park to see the headwaters of the Mississippi. Sporting their new rain slickers, and some rubber boots, the girls had a blast wading into the water, eventually deeper than their boots, resulting in some serious sloshing back to the truck.
